Default Bosch Windshield Wipers

So I got fed up with those $5 POS Flying J replacement wipers. Stopped at Kragen's in Fallon NV. and sprung $40 for a pair of Bosch top of the line wipers.
Man- What a difference! I actually enjoy driving in weather now. Highly recommended...

I tried a bunch of wipers including the expensive ones until I found that the RainX ones worked best for me. I think you need to experiment with different brands until you find the ones that work the best given the curvature of your windshield, tension and how the different brands of wipers work for your particular configuration.

I also found that I can go up to a 26" wiper but they were too long and chattered on the return run. I went down to 20" and those are perfect for me. The longer the wiper the less support they have.

The Bosch wipers are mounted in a flexible composite frame. Chatter was completely eliminated, and they seem to handle dirt film and ice better. It's easy to overlook wiper performance because it's something you overlook and don't really give any thought to.

I replace my wipers about every 3 weeks. I also use RainX which is incredible. Especially at night when it's raining. No wipers needed at all.

I'll give those Bosch wipers a try next time around. Are they a certain model?

Don't know the model, Steve. Bought a pair of 18 inchers at $19.99 each. Right of the shelf.

RainX does a good job, until you drive in the summer with all the bugs. :P
