Gman, my rates above probably reflect crossing the border and Ontario is probably considred a bad freight area.

A friend of mine haul mostly out of that area. He bases out of central Pennsylvania. I believe the last time I spoke with him he was averaging about $1.80/mile.

I *might* have some outbound if you're interested.

Kingston, ON to Wilmington, DE. 475 miles. I can probably pay $55/ton...probably works out to $825 on a 48' step.....~1.75/mile. No tarp. Shipper loads 7 days.

We normally send one of these out whenever I find a good backhaul out of Baltimore, but lately we've been too busy with other stuff. We can give it a try if you like.....see what you think.

PM me if you're interested.

No, he ran out of central Pennsylvania, up state NY and over to Maryland and New Jersey. He occasionally ran into northern Virginia and eastern Ohio. He lives near Harrisburg, PA.

Oh ok, is that all miles? That seems a little cheap if he's doing a lot of p/up and delivery,no? What do you think? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something.

Thank you rank, as I get closer to starting I'd like to talk about that.

rank, were those loads all on single drop decks? How long was the deck/trailer?

Although I've read many of your posts rank, it just dawned upon me - does the genesis of your handle relate to some pecking order (like you're a General) or an odoriferous old sock? I probably missed that explanation along the way but inquiring minds what to know!

That rate was for all miles. Some weeks he would do as much as $5,000 a week to the truck. Of course, that was not a weekly occurrence. He was leased to a carrier. I don't recall what he did week to week.
