When you called to get insurance (liability, bobtail etc) on your truck, did they ask for a resume of your driving experience, like
Jan 2004 to Sep 2004 Crete van Sep 2004 to Aug 2005 maverick . . . Or did they simply as for the date you got you CDL?

We have a driver that was never added to our policy. He's been driving for us for two years. Prior to that he drove for Quick-X for a year. Our ins company would not accept a "safe driver" letter fromQuick-X...only from Quick-X ins comapny.....yeah right like that is going to happen. So now he is a new driver with zero experience. What a crock.

I believe I was asked about my experience when I got my motor carrier insurance. I was sent a form for any new drivers to fill out about their experience. I was told they probably don't check them, they just want to see the experience on paper. They can check to see how long you have had a CDL when they pull your MVR.
