Default FASS System any good?

Has anyone tried the Diesel Injection Fuel Air Separation System (FASS) which is supposed to smooth idling, increase power and improve fuel mileage by adding two additional fuel filters to remove all water and air from the fuel?

Unlike the Turbo 300D at least I can understand what the FASS is trying to do and it does seem to be logical that better filtered fuel would burn more efficiently.

Anyone tried it?

I had one, didn't do anything but buzz in the AM radio.

AND it was more expensive than the 3000D

They work really well on a mechanical engine, but they have not shown much promise on the new electronic engines. The pittsburg power box is the real deal however.
