Greetings all.
One of my visitors John Morse sent me this map and suggested me to share it with the rest of you. Good suggestion. He spent a lot of time adding the truck stops, low clearance (Lower then 13'6"), Wallmarts, weigh stations and marking the rest areas on it... Hey Rainman, this would be good to have, unfortunately I am still running 2006 Streets and Trips... waiting for the '08 version before I update again. :?

Oh I know that only too well... I knocked a chunk out of my wind fairing in Kansas City on a "non truck friendly" route on a low overpass. It was under construction and I was focusing on not hitting the workers and cones. Didn't bother to notice the "low clearance" sign  well, a lesson learned. I wanted that fairing off my truck anyway :?

I did the same thing. I added the scales, truck stops, low clearances, restricted routes, toll booths and rest areas for the Northeast. It took me about 30 hours IIRC.
And if the software routes me through a restricted route or a low clearance, it will be marked on my map and I just re-route. It's handy. I like it. |
