Its been a while since I was pulled in at the coop. When it happened before, I was with Stevens, and they had a folder with certain documents in it. DOT looked through it, smiled and sent me on my way.
I don't remember what those documents were. Can anyone tell me what you keep in your folder to show DOT? I have my MC#,DOT#,2290,and insurance in place. Next I go to get my base plates (looks like a trip to Tally), then join a drug testing thing,OOIDA is filing my BOC3, and there must be a few things I'm forgetting,...this was way too easy  Then go to pick up my trailer,....when I find a good one.

I keep a doutang (sp?) in the glove boxes. I'm probably forgetting some stuff but:
CVOR certificate US authority cert (MC#) USDOT cert truck ownership/title cab card truck safety cert emissions cert NY HUT permit IFTA permit The trailers have the the saftety cert, registration/title and original ins cert. The Duotang has clear plastic sleeves in it and The docs are in the sleeves.
