I need to keep better track of ifta miles. I use all my Rate cons and pc miller to track my miles I know where i start from the rought i took and where i ended up at. I then run my miles break it into states and then Do my ifta. Is there a better way???? Something easy I need to keep better records trip sheets per load For documentation at home for the MAN If you knowwhat i mean. Thanks Jaime

You are doing all the right things manually without buying fancy software. I quit using stateline miles years ago. No one pays you on actual miles so why pay tax on actual miles. Be sure your mpg make sense at the end of the report. If you show 9 mpg they will be sending it back to you. The easier way is to buy software or pay someone else. Also good records keeping is the key.

We pay a permit service to ours. We just record the odometer mileage at every statw line on the trip sheet and fax the trip sheet.

We used FuelDesk Plus on Internet Truckstop. It's an excellent tool and you can submit your trips straight into the IFTA program. Cost $35/month but well worth the price because there are other things that are beneficial.
