How much did you pay for insurance...and is the company seem good so far?.....hmmm maybe too early to tell huh?
The thing I would have done is keep a better eye on them , they said they posted my insurance with FMCSA, but they waited a whole week to do it.
Dunno if they are fast at getting my cargo liabilty proof to brokers they will have redeemed themselves in my eyes.

Pepe,
I have not even really tried for insurance yet. I am waiting a couple of more weeks until my truck is done. So far the only quotes I have are from companies who want to have me on a "limit".
I want to have free reign of the country,...not stuck in the South East.

It is going to be difficult to find any insurance company who will insure you without at least 2 years of experience. You can't really blame them. Your chances are greatest for having an accident when first starting out. If you are involved in an accident your insurance carrier is on the hook for a huge claim. Once you get a little experience, you are less likely to be involved in an at fault claim.

I know its a risk, but I do have more miles under me than Steve (at least 50,000 anyway). I drove for Stevens back in 99-2000, and had no issues or problems. I can understand the restriction if I just got my CDL a week ago, but that is not the case.
I'm still going to try and look for an insurance provider that goes on my 8 year old CDL with no moving violations, and or even parking tickets.
If there is such an animal out there
