Default Turing up idle speed

Aanyway to turn up the idle on a mack vision? Would like to turn it up so it warms up faster in the morning. I know there is a way to do it with the buttons on the dash someone showed me once but I forgot how. Thanks

Set your cruise control to on and bump it up until you get to the rpm's you want. It should probably be around 800 rpm's.

To "bump it up" it up as the G-man told ya...push "resume" on the cruise. 800 should be plenty...not over 1000.

If you hit "resume" it sometimes will only max out at 800 or so, which is a good thing.

If that doesn't work, resort to Gman's method, as that was the only way to do it in my 06 Freightliner Columbia.

Good thing he doesn't have a CAT. CAT recommends a 1000-1200 rpm extended idle speed.
