Anyone ever lease on as a O/O with them? I know containers dont pay the best, but I have the oppertunity top pick up a good truck for real cheap. Would like to hear from some people who worked for them about there insurance rates and who pay the taxes etc. as well as how much work they have. Thanks in advance :!:

Csx is as good or bad as any.
They are going to inspect your truck.
I was not interested in them because I don't like the location of their terminals
Little Ferry and North Bergen
Call their recruiter
Get a packet
Ask them if they can give you an earnings projection and a couple copies of someones recent settlements.
Then tell him you want to work the Island
He will fall out of his seat.
It is very important to ask him if you can get a load to take home every night.
(of course you will need a secure place for this)
Most of LI intermodal freight comes from NJ


If yes, you will do well
If no, then you will wind up sleeping in your truck in the mosquito swamps of NJ
They have free truck parking in Little Ferry

Thanks for the ideas. I called them on monday but the terminal manager did not answer so I wanted to see if anyone here knew about them. Thanks for the help
