Their plates say "Oklahoma...We're OK". Not great, not bad, just...OK :? But seriously, hope everything gets better for the folks down there.

jnk2001 you are in Vancouver WA.....I love the area up there. There is no prettier place on earth than the Upper North West. Mt Hood is so pretty all year long and the forests are real forests....not the scrawny trees you find here on the East Coast.
La Pine OR was were we were living and is the only place I have EVER lived that you dont need air condition in the summer time and the only place I have ever lived that you DONT put your winter clothes away :? logging up there is so different than here. It is an intersting world out in the woods.... Anyone know how much tags are in OR for just running OR and CA?? tootie

I know what you mean about Oregon....I worked for several years for a small company headquartered in Sisters Or (west of Redmond).
The air was so clear, fresh, and clean I felt I could bottle and drink it. Nice part of the country!!

La Pine OR was were we were living and is the only place I have EVER lived that you dont need air condition in the summer time La Pine is nice. the whole Bend, LaPine area is nice, but it's all WAY too expensive. All the Californians moved up and bought up most of the land.... :x and the only place I have ever lived that you DONT put your winter clothes away :? logging up there is so different than here. The pines here are just the small pulp wood pines...yellow pine I think.
Yes, all of Oregon is VERY expensive. That was the main reason for leaving. I think we will stay put on the East Coast here in the Carolinas but I will always carry a little bit of Oregon in my heart. tootie

Oh yeah   , My uncle lives in Baltimore and I am going up there soon. There is nothing like MD style crabs. But, for now , I am satisfied with getting the NC crabs and taking them home and doing them MD style.

Well, we moved last Friday and the tract we moved to is by far the WORST place yet!!  It is hard to drop and hook the trailers cause of the way the logger set up  One of the trailers was broken by them moving it around and it cost 250.00 to weld it back together  :x :x :x That for 1 hours work!! I think we are in the wrong business!!!!
I have no internet connection out in the field so i can only post from town. we have finally found a place and will be moving in this weekend. The house is on the Pamlico River (I mean ON the river) I have never lived in a waterfront home before so this should be nice!!! 8) I have no cell phone connection there either so we will have cable modem I think. tootie
