My guess would be most.

Then the company can take the truck back and lease purchase it to the next new driver who just can't wait to be making the big money "owning" thier own truck.

The only people that benefit from L/P deals are companies who lease them over and over.

I did ok with the truck lease even i lost truck.Made good checks.

Fine that is all well and good,but can you see how much better it would've been had you saved up to buy your own truck outright and I'm guessing had a lower payment,still had those good sized checks and now had a truck with equity in which to better yourself?

You were basically a company driver with a lot more headaches and in the end you are in the same place as when you started.You put in all that hard work for nothing.
