There is very little "luck" involved with lease purchase.....It takes a while to learn the companies freight lanes and to know where to go and where NOT to go....for instance....We took a run from UT to Texarkana TX we unloaded in TX and knew there was no freight so we had already planned to DH back to Tulsa 270 miles so we could get another load. The other option was to sit the weekend in TX. We also live in Tulsa so if no load at least we would be home...which is cheaper for us.

We were reloaded Fri night and sent to MD with 2 stops....worked out great AND our DH was paid from TX to Tulsa!!

You have to know how to work the system of the comany you are leased to and You HAVE to run smart. Fuel milage and consumption is your greatest cost.

Good luck in what ever you do but think long and hard it is NOT easy.
