Sharp Honda!

No sports car here, but I do have a nice 2005 Chrysler Town and Country mini van. I traded in a hot 2003 Dodge 2500 with a Cummins that dyno'd out at 600hp, but it ate 3 trannies at $10,000 a pop. I figured my hot rod days were over and went with the mini van.

It was either that or a divorce, I love that mini van!

But, I just bought a a new 2007 motorhome, a 24' Coachmen Concord 235SO touring coach with all the bells and whistles, does that count?

What type of trannys cost 10k what type of work did you have done??? i got a 04 f-350 its on my myspace it has some little stuff done to it. I had the banks kit on it but i sold it. it was slowly taking a toll on everything in the drivetrain.

Not an O/O.

Mine is a Subaru Impreza WRX. I'm hoping for 300+ wheel HP when I'm done. Shouldn't be much of a problem considering that some Japanese models had 300 crank HP.

I started with an ATS stage II, then a stage III, and finally went with a B&D full hi pro tranny. I should have kept it at that point, as I think the B&D would have held up fine. And I exagerated a bit on the costs, but it sure felt like 10 grand each time it was fixed

I think I had roughly $20,000.00 in trannies when I got rid of it. I loved that truck, but the way it ate those automatics, it was not worth keeping. And like I said, the wife was pissed. I mainly got rid of it to save my marrige. In fact she mentioned it the other day, and she is still mad!

I know it's not a chick magnet or a fast sports car but it does the job. Smokes and won't start have the time but my payments are cheap.

Alice, very nice...Melvin is jealous....

I sold off all of my "toys" and then got bored with my '03 Chebby p/u...so I bought a new toy. '92 Mustang GT, performance red with titanium gray interior...BONE stock, old lady owned...so far it's been converted to 5-lug and has Baer Brakes on it. Maximum Motorsports Grip Box, re-paint, freshen up teh interior and a FTI custom grind cam, AFR 185's with a TFS Track Heat intake on a 331 for power. Going to keep this one more of a cruiser than my last one. Get a little carried away and you end up with a 840 rwhp car that's no fun to drive at all, and is about as reliable as a '74 Pinto.
