Question limited use insurance or tandem tractor

What insurance companies offer limited use insurance I have a Mack tandem tractor that I use maybe 3-6 times a year and under 2000 miles all year, I heard some insurance companies offer Limited use insurance for these but don’t know who they would be and which are the cheaper ones?

Any help would be great.

I had the same issue trying to get short-term coverage that didn’t cost a fortune for limited runs. Ended up using https://sundaysinsurance.co.uk/ —they actually had something that worked for my setup without forcing a full commercial policy. Way easier than I expected, just filled out a quick form and got what I needed without a bunch of back and forth. Might be worth checking out if you're only running part-time.

Post Hey

Hey, if you only use your Mack a few times a year, look for limited use or seasonal commercial coverage. Progressive Commercial and GEICO Commercial can handle low-mileage trucks, and OOIDA has options for owner-operators.
Prices can vary a lot, so the best way is to call a few and explain your usage. So, they will tell you what works best and what is cheapest.

For a Mack tandem that only sees the road a few times a year, limited use or seasonal insurance is what you want. Progressive, GEICO Commercial, OOIDA, and Great West Casualty all offer options.
Make sure to tell them exactly how much you drive and how often and you can usually get a lower rate
