Default What to charge

I have been away from the trucking industry for about 20 years. I am thinking about getting back into it. I plan on buying a used truck and just doing some southwestern U.S. driving. What is the average price the owner/operator charges to haul loads?

Thanks

Al

About $0.85 per mile, according to C.R.England, Schneider, JB Hunt, Swift, etc.

People charge less than it costs them to operate the truck usually.

There is a website that lists average rates www.truckloadrate.com
