Default Great company for you scared to get your authority
One of my drivers is threatening to go to this .com and get his dream truck. 1996 FLD for $325/wk and $10 buyout. Check it out at SLXTRUCKS Their ADVANTAGES are just what I think some of you guys are looking for. Awaiting your comments/replies.

Why not?? I think some of these guys would jump at this great opportunity just to avoid the paperwork associated with having their own authority.

Yeah, I told him $8,000 truck for $16,010. He wants to be an O/O and is mad because I wont sell him a truck.

If he wants to be an owner operator, he needs to save his money and either pay cash or use it for a good down payment. It is amazing how much someone will pay to say that they own the truck. :roll:

It turns out that this company is a spin off of Ledar. Ledar is the company that leased over 600 trucks to lease operators and only 1 ever got his title. OOIDA helped the operators sue and Ledar lost, this case changed some laws involving the "corporate veil".
