Hello there forum,
I've been studying here in NJ to pursue a CDL. I'm all set to take the knowledge test and get a CLP.
I failed the Ishihara color test and the examiner would not allow me to pass. I'm 51 in good physical
shape no health problems. I've been driving for years and I'm going on 3 years driving corporate cars/SUVs
in the NYC metro area, clean driving record etc etc and all the rest.
I can see numbers in about 2 out of 10 Ishihara pages.

Should I get another exam somewhere else to see if I can pass?

If I do pass another exam, will this likely be a problem every 2 years?

I'm feeling like I should pursue other jobs, but I want to be sure before I toss in the towel.
