Hello everyone, I am planning on getting my CA CDL pretty soon. I have a truck on my farm that is stickered for 26,000 and it is a tanked fuel truck with only 1,100 gallons of rated capacity. Can I get a class C CDL with a tank and Hazmat endorsement? Or will I need to get a class B in order to legally drive this truck?

You cannot get a hazmat endorsement on a class c license. If you want to haul hazmat you will need to get a CDL with a hazmat endorsement. From your description you may also need to get a tanker endorsement. I would check with your local DMV office and ask them what you need to be sure. Farmer's are treated differently with some issues. Some exemptions exist for agriculture.
