Had a deer strike........just so happened to be a quarter mile from my house on the way back to the yard from my last store. Prolly fed the poor bastard a few times!
God it sounded horrible, sounded like a car crash as the bumper got destroyed. I was dropping pieces the next half mile till I could safely get off the road and check the damage. 52mph into a large buck that was around 180 pounds minimum. Drug him at least 300 feet and scalped his antlers. Wife saw him and thought I had mistaken it, she swore it was a doe, it was after I got done with it! Being that I was pulling a reefer, shop asked if I tossed it into the trailer........
Nope, didn't think Walmart would like their trailer full of blood. Handed them what was left of the bumper.......what's this, dirt? Uh no, that's poo, I literally knocked the $hlt out of that buck!
