Try to hook up with other construction companies! Got a guy local to me who does that, he runs for several construction companies at the same time. I wish I could tell you about another guy, but he has gone OTR and I never see him anymore. He used to run construction equipment and or anything that could go on lowboys. He had 1 run out of Raleigh that was either an AC unit or Generator that needed moved to Winchester, VA. Don't know how he got loads like that, sorry, love to ask him if I could.

Thank you Sir, i was thinking that would be prob the best option, i actually do know couple of people that own construction company, so they might give me additional contacts. i subscribed to truckstop.com but it doesn't seems like they have a lot of loads for a lowboy...

Good luck to you on it! Hope it works out. Just keep an eye on your schedule and make sure they understand you have other runs to do to! The guy here gets a little bit angry when he gets held up by a piece that isn't ready to load when he shows up. Can certainly understand it, detention when you got another run to get to still, not fun! I don't like it when our guys do it to me and we are the same company!

You may contact local equipment rental companies. They sometimes need equipment moved to or from construction sites.
