Call up any company that piques your interest and see what they say. All will want to put you through a refresher course if you haven't been driving a truck in nearly 10 years, insurance says so on that. Unless you find some local small time outfit, no way around it. What's your driving record like, nothing recent in your personal vehicles? Companies will check you there. In case you haven't kept up with trucking news, things have changed a bit. Drivers have a weird points system from DOT, accumulate too many points and it's a warning, accumulate too many more and they yank your license. Get in a crash that your not at fault, you get points against you by DOT.......

You didn't mention if you've kept up with your med certificate or not. Now if you let the cert. lapse the state suspends your cdl back to a 'regular' license. I don't know for sure if you can reinstate it just by getting a new med. cert. or if you have to take a road test at the DMV. When you find out post that info here please.
