may trucking company's solo test
Hello, does anyone know what the solo test for may trucking entails?

Never drove for May but if it's like other companies then they'll have you do a quick walk around showing that you really do know what to look for on a pretrip then you'l drive around the block or so. I've been on both sides of these test and really there's nothing to be worried about. What I looked for was safety and control, in other words does the new driver keep the truck centered in the lane, can he find a gear, is it the right gear (xtra points if it is
 )? I would much rather have the newb swing wide on turn rather than cut it to close (a possible sign of overconfidence) .These companies know your inexperienced and don't expect perfection what they do expect is BASIC KNOWLEDGE
