First of all I would like to introduce myself ..I just finished my cdl training and I finished my 3rdparty training ...so I actively have a class b with tanker and hazmat endorsements ..i have a question before I got my cdl I have 3 moving traffic violations Two in 2012 and One in 2013. My question is in Louisiana are there any company's that take chances with my driving record such as a probation Or a cut in pay. .

I don't really know about Louisiana or about a class B, but why didn't you check this out before spending money on a school? Three violations will make it hard and may be impossible to get any job let alone a good one. What are they for? If there minor you may be able to explain one or two away, three will be tough. If there major one's your kinda screwed.

Dunno the rules in Louisiana (and La is notorious for being different from the other 49 states, due to its French influence), but perhaps they have a ticket expungement program. Or a motor vehicle attorney there might be able to re-open a conviction and get them removed/reduced.

Most companies will allow 2-3 moving violations during the last 3 years. Starting out it may not be easy for you to get started until at least one of them drop off your record. But, persistence often pays off. Carriers are limited as to whom they can hire due to insurance requirements. If you manage to get on with a carrier prior to one of the moving violations dropping off, you could lose your job should you get just one more ticket. Carriers are becoming much more particular with hiring requirements. One too many moving violations and you are out of a job.

Drive a cement mixer, they generally have a bit of a higher turnover because of the work and thus less strict rules about who they hire and generally don't want someone with mixer experience because they like to train them to do it their way. Also while you won't get rich, they generally pay pretty well and have decent benefits. Dunno about the cost of living there but around here the going wage runs around $12 to $15 an hour in Oklahoma.
