I am new to the forum and would welcome input about getting a good driving job in the oilfields, perhaps North Dakota. I have just earned my CDL, so I do not have much experience to offer. But, I would be more than willing to go through some training with another driver to learn the ropes. I want to be able to work at least 70 hours per week.
I see on the job boards and websites that there are many jobs for hauling sand, water, crude oil, and other products in North Dakota. Thank you for your input.

Thank you for your input. 1: You go get you a job working in the oilfield. 2: You train with as many people riding with you as is deemed necessary. 3: You work 80 to 100 hours a week. 4: You quit because you want a life and money just isn't worth working that hard for.

I spoke with someone in power fuels in north dakota ..orange text and they said 15 per hour for swamper and average around 70 hours a week
80 -100 hours ? for those 70 hours at that rate I'd average about 1300 a week Last edited by theguy24; 09-03-2011 at 10:40 AM.

$15. An hour with no experience at all? That's not to bad of a pay rate
