I guess the boss doesn't want you buying a new seat! I don't think you can get a cheap seat for less tahn $750.....but I could be wrong!
A good seat is gonna run a lot more than $750.

I've been trolling the boards for several months and enjoy reading the posts. My boss just reupholstered my seat 3 weeks ago. Very cheap, under 150 dollars. They replaced all the foam as well and let me tell you my butt appreciates it.
They recovered it in pleather or something. I guess it really depends on what condition your seat is in but if it's a matter of worn cushioning and cover then this might be an ideal option.

Most of your 'good' truck seats start around $600-$700 and go up from there.
Bostrom is one of the best seats, but they are also very proud of them. You might stop by some truck dealers, or shops. Some of them sell seats, and they might be affordable.
