My Volvo 780 has a lot of storage space, forward and back. I think the only real contender are some of the condo Freightshakers but if you are considering one of those over a Volvo I'd cut to the chase and invest in a .357 and a single bullet.

All right then, try this one . .
2009 Volvo 780 : eBay Motors (item 120554573332 end time Apr-15-10 19:44:21 PDT) I'm actually serious about this one . . if he's telling the truth and you can get him to come down a little on that price, that looks like a good deal but not a steal. If you plan to continue running at or near Swift speed, that transmission will get better fuel economy and those are some serious warrantys. I've had 3 Columbias and 2 Volvos (780?). Space inside the cab seems to be about equal (condos) but the Volvo had much better under bunk storage plus it had the equivalent of a 2 car garage behind the passenger side faring. I have seen that used for storage but have never seen where the accessories come from. It might have been home made.

If I were choosing a platform for a motor home (I know!) I'd probably go with the Volvo, too. To me, the Columbia handles more like a truck should; it isn't as comfortable but I like the inputs I get from the road.
