The company gave me a new truck with no cassette for the XM input.
Does anyone have any luck with XM direct?
Looks like it connects the XM directly to the radio antenna of the truck radio.

I used a FM tuner when I had my XM. Worked OK. Used 88.1,88.5, and 88.7.

Does your AM/FM have a AUX jack?

Nope, wish it did have the aux jack. Last years trucks had 'em. This year they came with am/fm cd only.
Pilot sells something for $25 that connects to the antenna. Thats what I'm lookin at. (fmda25)

1st which xm radio do you have.....?

my old roadie didn't have an fm modulator built in (used the cassette) so when we changed truck's i got the newer power supply that had the fm modulator in it (used 88.1, 3 ,5, 7 and 107.1, 3, 5, 7) worked very well.

most of the t/s (walmart, auto parts stors) have fm modulator's for mp3 player's that will work well and you can used it with a mp3 player,

also if your tv has an head set plug you can get a head set extension cord and plug the tv into it and run the tv sound through your truck stereo, but remember you also need 2 way power plug to run both the radio and the fm modulator.

The XM direct unit doesn't require any power. It's got the xm antenna in & out connections, plus the fm antenna in & out connections. It takes all of about 30 seconds to hook up once you pull the radio from the dash. Also, it's small enough (maybe 2x as thick as a cassette) to go inside the dash behind the radio.

I'm looking into just finding a used radio from '06, or before they neutered the modulators.

'Tis a same they still have done nothing about getting Boombox-34/39 back on the air, all the pop is getting a tad annoying.

That's what you need PA. It hooks up to your radio's antenna, and it knocks out the stations.

Yup - it works perfectly. In fact, you won't be able to receive ANY radio stations unless you turn off the XM receiver (which turns off the adapter).

Skip the FM transmitter altogether. Unfortunately you said the deck has no AUX in, but what about in the back? That's the only way to go IMO. Almost all decks (even factory ones) have RCA in on the back panel. Then all you need is this:
