found the fm direct thingy at pilot for less than best buy.....wow
didnt get to install everything in the new truck yet.....soon
thanks for the replies, i will let you know how it works.
oh, and i could pay for it with points from the fuel card

the fm adapter works great!
had to buy a new radio that worked with the adapter but its worth it.
