Handle Pen + Touch or Scratch = The gift that keeps on giving.....

I don't think that I would want to keep or even touch a pen that was laying in a parking lot, especially a truck stop parking lot. Just imagine all the urine it might have experienced while laying there to be discovered. :eek2:

Flu season is in full swing not to mention H1N1. Bacteria lives on a surface and a virus lives within a host.
So things we all touch like phones, door handles etc.... all should be cleaned within reason to kill bacteria if you, your family or a co worker is infected. A pretty good rule is if it's wet and not yours, you need to protect yourself. Here are few other nasty things that are pretty common: MRSA infection - MayoClinic.com Cellulitis - MayoClinic.com We all cant live in a bubble so simple hand washing and cleanliness go a long way.

i collect parker duofolds, ever since i had a cheap big red in the 70's.
i justify the expensive hobby by using the theory that the more expensive the pen, the less chance i am willing to let any one "borrow" it for any reason, cutting my chances of picking up whatever that other driver/shipper/receiver/guard has on his hands. ![]() the other advantage of buying a "good" pen is that you take care of them, not losing them, or giving them away. by keeping track of them, you get more uses for the dollars spent, resulting in value. i used a blue marbled ballpoint everyday for a little over 20 years before switching to a green rollerball. for the OP i'd recommend a TUL get yourself a medium, gel retractable.
