i'm calling bullchit on this one. sorry dude...but my first real big snow storm i drove thru....i was nervous as hell. not so nervous i felt conditions dictated i get off the road, mind you. but if you wernt nervous, then you were totally comfortable and relaxed....and still being a 'green' driver (like me) and being comfortable on a condition that nips even veteran drivers....is dangerous. sorry, just calling it like i see it.
Wow.. what a change.. I remember when We were all-- telling Kevin that 'over confidence is dangerous'-- he's learning fast... well advised. 2-lane US highways + night + the "ice zone" of USA "middle of the country"-- very dangerous. They were probably right in ordering you all to shut down-- now just imagine --"What if" something had happened while you were "ignoring" those safety instructions?

Rt. 29 just looks dangerous going thru Nelson Co in the winter. Some interesting hills with tight curves. My first time thru there I thought to myself, this would not be a fun road in the winter. One look at the demolished guardrails and skid marks tells you it's a dangerous road to lose focus on in good conditions.
