but i am going to have to side on the author's side. He said he had a ticket. and was asking ones opinions about it. EvenJoe had a good opinion, up to the point he had to point out the obvious. Had he left it at that, and not tagged on "you have a ticket" he might as well add "you have a ticket, dummy" i bet EvenJoe thinks that if you take a class of white milk, and add a drop of choclate milk, then the glass becomes totally choclate. ;-)

Unfortunately, given the current economy and state of the trucking industry, that one drop may spoil the whole thing for now.

I did not call him a dummy. I don't know whether he is dumb or not. I do know he got a ticket. I do know that he does not have a clean record. He has a real problem when it comes to getting hired because I may apply for the same job and I DO have a clean record. Real clean. With experience. Inexperienced drivers need to have a real, real, clean record because they have to compete with drivers like me. Not just "no felonies". Clean. |
