It had to happen sooner or later. I remember reading that new drivers can get over confident after a year or so and I guess that what happened to me. I'm driving through a small town. The road is covered with snow but no big deal. I've got 75000 lbs so I'm not worried. I seen the mini van in front put on his turning light and slow down but I don't follow too close and figured he would have turned off by the time I got there.
By the time I realized he couldn't turn until a pedestrian got across I had to stand on the brakes. It was slipperier than I thought. I almost stopped but not until I pushed him forward a few feet. I barely had time to set the brake and this guy is already out of the van. I couldn't believe it, he's a midget. Bad enough I hit someone but you gotta figure it's a specially outfitted vehicle. So this dwarf basically runs up to the truck. My window's open a little and he jumps right up on the step grabbing the open window. The guy pretty much yells at me 'I'm not happy!' Well which one are you? I says...
