Swift Prostars?
Going down I-40 this afternoon I noticed several new Swift International Prostars. When did they go to Prostars?

Don't know exactly when, but my ProStar has a manufacture date of 11/08 if that is any indication.
And when we picked this one up in Phoenix there were plenty more waiting. Only had 2k miles on it. Has more room in the bunk area, but not much in the way of storage space. Good thing my team mate is my wife because the top bunk is being used for storage.

They started getting them in August of 08. That is the first time i saw one. And by the end of this year, you wont see any truck older than a few years old. I currently drive a 2005 or an 06 Volvo with 545k miles, and i'm hoping any day that they tell me to take her to Phoenix, and get a new truck.

They're picking up excess inventory and rounding out/topping off production runs. Just like the car market, it's a good time to be buying trucks. The Pornstars stand out because of the redisign. I wouldn't characterize it as a "switch to . . " I'm in an 09 Columbia and when I picked it up, it was either this or an 09 Columbia. You didn't notice me because it looks just like my 03 Columbia. I spoke with another Driver who had a similar experience with his new Volvo. Looked just like my 03 Columbia . . If you pay real close attention, there is a smattering of new Petes and KWs thrown into the mix as well.
OR . . Once word of the Coyotes imminent implosion got out, the manufacturers got together and said "Jerry's been such a good customer . . poor thing! Let's trade a few thousand trucks for desert hockey tickets . . "
