Default Pain Management

I was wondering if any one here knows a driver that is on pain management. In taking a drug screen, these different pain meds are sure to show up. Are the people that do the screening obligated to keep the info confidential as they should, or is this a touchy subject in this industry?? Has anyone gone thru such a thing and what was the out come??

Thanks!!!

DOT has a list of meds that, if you are taking them, you are not allowed to drive a commercial vehicle. If the meds you're on do not appear on that list, you're fine. If they are, DOT says you are not allowed to drive. Some time back, I believe there was a complete list published on CAD.

swift had already known that i had been prescribed oxycontin a week before i was set to have a pre-hire urine test. they gave me the green light about it, and made sure i didn't get a truck until after i had gotten done with that stuff, and wasn't going to need it any time after getting a truck. the reasoning for the stuff was that during the cdl schooling days, i had an ingrown hair pimple on my lower back that i had popped. the wound became infected and an abscess grew to about the size of a golf ball. it was lanced at a hospital, and i proceeded to feel quite good for an entire week.

you're welcome. maybe it'll help with your current phlegm problems. the puss coming out was thick as peanut butter, too, and the blood was dark as if it was burnt. even all doped up, i felt like puking at the mere sight of it as the doctor soaked it up with several med pads.

my mom got bit by a brown recluse spider. oh you should have seen the pus on that. it was white and creamy. and all that dead muscle. the venom is necrotic. the wound was 4 quarters deep and just as big as a quarter. cleaning it out everyday was fun. now her scar looks like she was shot.

how's that for an infection story.

yeah, still a little phlegmy.

the rumor mill was going full steam ahead as i arrived back at the hotel. people were asking if i had been bitten by a brown recluse. i hadn't....buuuuuuuuuuuuut, another had! he was in the room next to mine at the ER.

the scar left looks like a gun shot wound, too. maybe i can be like 50 cent and sell records off of my fake bullet wound. yo, i got shizzot right above my left ass cheek! word up, dawg!
