Default This Is Scary What I've Just Been Told..

I've been told by a Schneider Mechanic that for now on, the only problems on a truck that will get fixed is they ones that are DOT related... So what you see Below, well not get fixed no time soon.. everytime someone put tape on it, it pulls right off.. it felt like i had the ac blowing full blast, that drift sucked coming from that sleeper, even when i put the curtains up i could still feel the breeze.. DAMN this is a Cheap #$! company!!

Wow...never thought it'd get that bad...

Just curious...how many miles are on your truck?

Take it to some place that SNI authorizes for repairs, and have them put a spot weld on it. Even if the spot weld doesn't hold forever, at least it will be closed for now.

If you have a piece of wire and and piece of wood you could fix it by:

1) Attaching a wire to the vent
2) Closing the vent
3) Placing a piece of wood on the inside of the sleeper
4) Wrapping the wire tightly around the wood to keep vent closed

By the looks of some fleets trucks I have seen on dealer lots this already seems to be a policy.

lol i know.. to be honest if i was to Jump ship to another OTR company with a Coolie's i would go with Swift Flatbed or U.S. Express.. But things are bad.. They are Very Bad.. But Not Bad Enough to be away from the house 3/4 weeks at a time.. So i guess i'm going to just suck it up so damn much until i can't suck it up no more..

And England?? Crappy Trucks?? S******.. I seem them all they time a my DC and at Backhauls, I love their Trucks, but i hear the Company Sucks!!

And Tom its a Slip Seat Truck.. 80% of the Drivers Slip Seat on Schneider Wal Mart Accounts. I couldn't get a Picture of that One Truck with the hole on the Side which look like a four wheeler ran into!!

Yep, just hang in there and finish up your time with Schneider. Definitely not the time to be job-hopping! You can do 8 months standing on your head Hawk!

Schneider has really fallen that far huh? Just do your time, and we'll get you paroled soon Hawk!

The good thing about your vent stuck open is you could use it to catch your dinner in the summertime.

Heck when I worked there something like that would take two days to get fixed.

I stuck it out and finished my contract (1 year at the time). It is not a very pleasent place to work for, but if you are new it isnt that bad (looking back).

They WILL come after their money if you do not complete your contract. My old teammate is still paying the pumpkin patch back the money he owes.

I BEAT them in the end and got my CDL and experience for free. I couldn't WAIT to call my STL and tell them I'm putting in my two weeks, PEACE!!!!!!! Now every time I blow the doors off an old SNI driver I think, Man I got it made...hahahahhahahahah
