My truck is sitting loaded and ready for my daily shuttle run to Kent. I guess I'll have to go to the warehouse and unload it as I can't run this weekend, the projected I-5 opening isn't until Monday at the earliest.
Highway 2, Stevens Pass is now open, so what is normally a 160 mile run from Vancouver to Kent would now be about 450/460 miles from Vancouver to Biggs to Yakima to Ellensburg to 90 to 97 to 2 to 522 to 405 to 167. I told my dispatcher and they said no way, I said good.
I-90 is projected to open, possibly, sometime today. That would be a little bit better loop around.
Fox news channel 12 just said that they have breaking news: I-5 "may" open sometime this afternoon.
