I think that there is far more to this story than we are being told.

I think that this truck was manufactured and operated in a dysfunctional and abusive environment.

With just a few billion dollars in social spending of tax dollars each year over the next thirty years or so, we could solve this problem of runaway trucks.

Well, the buttons do not push themselves in, so if the inspector found them pushed in, the driver did not set the brakes. I have seen it happen before, and I'm afraid it will happen again. Do we need a "DEAD-MAN SWITCH" on the seat so that whenever the driver gets up, the brake sets itself?

Saw this one that you might be interested in Silver.....great example of roll-off work..and shows why most trucks, especially those that use a hook, have a tail support, that sets down to the ground and keeps trucks from doing what this one does.

about the roll off.......the driver made this comment..."
See I bet he would have loved to bring the box 3/4 ways up..but what little does everyone know is that box is missing 1/2 the rail on one side, So he could either pull a nice wheel stander or bring it 3/4's up the rail and have it slip off to the left and flip over a 189,000 dollar truck..hmmm i say do the wheelie its cheaper..and thats how you pick up a 90,000lb box thats broken so it can be brought in for repairs..Or get the crying driver who says i cant do it.time is money here.get it poping "

Hey Stan...

Things are going ok with the roll off, they're a little slow so I'm not on the

truck as much as I'd like. I'm still having trouble eyeballing the rails

when I'm in the cab. I'm trying to back up as straight as I can but

sometimes I'm a little off. I wonder if hooking up and pulling a little

forward whould help to straighten the box out
. I'll get it soon....I

hope..... :? :? 8) 8) 8)

   YOU wouldn't be the first driver to do that.....  You won't be the last drivver to do that !!! 8) 8)
