Default Hello all....newbie here from Tampa Bay.

Just wanted to make my first post here. I have been lurking for a few days and decided to register.

I'm 38, married, 2 children and 2 dogs. I have been laid off 3 times since 2001 and am starting a new career in trucking. I am going thru the WIA program and should be starting school in two weeks at RoadMaster here in Tampa.

I will try and use the search feature to eliminate "same topic" posts. Some times they don't really answer my questions though.

Thanks to all of you for sharing info, this looks like a great forum!

Peace,
bAd KaRmA

Default Pre-hires

How many "pre-hires" do you have in hand. You should already know who you want to drive for. BTW, couldn't you have gone to a community college (Washington-Holmes, Bradford County, FCCJ in Jax) offering driver training and still have WIA foot the bill (better training, less money)? BOL

Good Luck to you. Roadmaster has a pretty good reputation so it should work out for you. See you out on the road someday!!
