I had to get a doctor note stating that my sleep apnea was stable and being treated.

I have a problem with companies who want you to have a recent sleep study completed before they will hire you (I have only exeperienced 1 company so far).

Sleep studys start off around $3000.00 and I basically asked the company if they are dealing with an unemployed driver looking for work how is he or she supposed to get that sleept study completed if they are not insured.

I always put it down when I take a physical but I do wonder about the number of who dont put it down because they dont want the hassle or simply dont realize they have it(sleep apnea).

Most companies require a sleep study as well as the test to make sure you dont fall asleep during the day. The tests have to be less than 2 years old and most likely you will only get a medical card for a year.
