Probably not related but I heard leaving a wallet in your back pocket and sitting for long periods of time can cause back problems.

I always seemed to develop spasms when crossing Nevada on I-80.
The most effective cure seemed to be found at Wells or Battle Mountain...

Sounds like your Sciatic nerve. That runs right down the middle of your cheek and down the middle of the back leg.

You could either go to a chiropractor or take a laxative, then you'll be afraid to cough.
  Why's that?

Yeah Bjs24, sounds like your sciatic nerve is acting up. If it continues to act up/get worse, have a chiropractor check it out.

OhioMohawk was spot on about the wallet in the back pocket. Don't sit on your money. Invest it!
