Default Feel like my parole hearing was canceled

6 months at werner now.. doing everything I got to will myself to stay there lol. about 4 months into it and I called up Melton Truck Lines and talked with their recruiters and ended up getting alot of info and sent in an app. I got a letter in the mail for prehire and was so excited.

They told me it would be better if I stuck it out with werner for a full 6 months then call em up for orientation. Alright, sounded good, that way orientation would be closer to home and for less time.

So 6 months go by I call em up, and the recruiter apologized greatly and said I could not be hired. WHAT!?!?! I felt like my prison sentence which is werner would be over but now feel like Im stuck here even longer. Melton was my way out /cry.

The recruiter told me they stopped hireing in new england area because its too hard to get drivers home.

After looking I am still unable to find a job at all up here in Maine.

Default I'm from Maine . .

. . but if you don't like Werner, I doubt you'd care for Swift. I have no problem getting loads in or out.

My dad drove for CMT, there in Bangor. Have you looked into them?

Default I got a ride . .

. . from a guy who lives in Jackman. He drives Sears dedicated out of (little town near Scranton) PA. That's his schedule, out M - F and home S/S. He's based out of Syracuse (as am I). Give them a call, 1-800-347-4485.
