Default JB Hunt??

Hello:

For those of you who work for or have worked for JB Hunt, what is the company like? I might have a shot in their management trainee program. I currently work for Ryder washing/cleaning trucks, so I know a little about the industry. Ryder sucks ass, and the company is run horribly. They are trying to get by as cheap as they can, and in turn, are losing customers.

Can anyone provide any insight?

Thanks,

Erick

Hey Bud,
Your best bet is to get with Sheepdancer on this board. He used to be a recruiter for JB. He's always been honest and I'm sure he can give you the kind of info you are looking for.
I know he still kinda lurks around here from time to time, or you can send him a pm.

Default JB Hunt

You will find nothing different at JB Hunt. You will be indoctrinated. You will be pushed as hard as they can get away with. Then when you get sick of it you will be discarded. Check your integrity at the door, too.

I had no problem working at JB corporate. I was paid really really well, had outstanding benefits and was treated good.
I cant speak for the managment training program, I dont know anyone that went through it.
