To reefer or not to reefer?

The main reason I've steered clear of reefers is grocery warehouses. I absolutely DESPISE those places.

Hrmm...lots to think about.
Thanks for the input everyone. I wouldn't be switching companies, and I wouldn't even be switching tractors. I was also told I could switch back whenever I wanted to, so I think I'm gonna give it a shot. The noise doesn't bother me so much, as I sleep with earplugs... Thanks everyone!

First, it's CO, not CO2 that you have to be concerned about. Second, CO is heavier than air, so it sinks. So unless you're sleeping on the ground under the reefer unit, and there's no wind, and you're not moving at all while you sleep (which would create some air movement), you'd be fine.

If you are concerned about being exposed to CO, then buy a $20.00 detector here or Lowes, Home Depot etc...
