I have both,listen to music on Sirius much more than I do on XM,listen to MLB and NHL on XM along with the reason I bought it Opie and Anthony.

I also would'nt give up either one they both have good points,I love that my XM player (inno) can record 50 hrs of shows,and I love the replay/pause feature of my Sirius unit.

Sirius=NFL,Nascar,Howie,Hair Nation

XM=O&A,MLB,NHL,Big 10 sports

wish the stupid merger would go through already and maybe they could/would make a dual reciever,so my dash isn't so cluttered.

I have Sirius for Howard, but almost like Bubba more nowadays. But I gotta agree that the Sirius trucking channel is bad. The morning show is decent and does it job of filling in when Howard is on vacation and the Lockridge Report at 1pm cst is really good. But the other two are just bad. Like really bad. I almost want to call in ask if this the best they can come up with?

And it does surprise me that they don't have a overnight show. One would think that would be a given.

The only reason I wish I had XM is during baseball season. Because I can listen to any game and get into it. And that could kill alot of drive time. With any luck this merger will go though and I can listen to at least part of the season.

I gave him an honest to God try for a couple of weeks,can't stand the big fake radio voice and really found the show unlistenable(word?).

I've only ever had XM and I'm more than happy with it. I have a cheap ol Roady 2 that's never caused any problems. I did upgrade the antenna to one of the mushroom cap ones and added a direct connect fm modulator - it completely eliminates needing to ever change the FM station when you come close to a station that's powerful.

My company pays for XM, so I have that. The wife rode up to the company xmas party and liked it, so I got it for her. We have Sirius on our satellite tv provider at home (music only) and I don't like it as much. XM has Open Road, Old Time Radio and XL Comedy along with all kinds of sports.

We have boh Sirius and XM. Hubby prefers XM (because of channel 171) and I prefer Sirius because they just play better selection of music than XM. My fav channels on Sirius are 7, 8, 9, 12, 15, 19, 22, 23 and 24 and I switch in between em all the time if I don't like one song I check the other channels. :lol: :roll:
