Also ...how about some real advice ...Like for a Newb like me ...assuming i am not clever or streetwise ...what are some exact behaviors a newb could use to ensure a return home ...
The gentleman says " safe truck Stops" does this intone that ANY truck stop is safe ?

If not what are some of the things to look for?

Do you Guys use AAA at all ?...I do as a private traveler

Is there a website to know where to hole up thats good

if not ? is it better to say go somewhere like the closest mall or somewhere big and lighted ... or what would the best last ditch options be ...

I know when I did security for anheiser busch @ Northgate in Busch Gardens ...we could not allow them to set in back ...there was barely enough room to manuver back there as it was ...There was however an open dirt lot ...well gravel dirt combo ...up the road about 1/4 mile or less we would refer them to ... I hated that job ...a lot of you guys waved yer Log Books like you were thinkin of cloberin me ... so I assume the companies were "Not" aware ... and if ANY thing went wrong around back man it got jammed up ..."Hold Them UP! " yeesh wed get that half a dozen times a week!

Guys I know this may sound silly to you that have done this a while

But seriously anyone at any age with so much new to learn can miss the obvious

Im sure each and every pair of eyes reading this made some silly newbie mistakes back in the day .... so a good story would no go un apreciated ...well other than truck stop porn ...LOL

Ohh and again ...what about DOGS? seriously

I made it home from Panama ...I would sure hate to end it in a dirty back lot or under an interstate overpass in west Tampa ... so maybe some serious "Sage" advice might help.

Thanks
Shawn

It's just bad luck. This is a common practice. Get there early, beat the morning traffic and unload. That's a horrible story.
