Default Still Dreaming of Daytime Linehaul

I drive linehaul and the job is good except for the late hours.

My schedule is 2:30 PM to 3:30 am, which includes 2 hours of commuting. Mon thru Fri.

I know it is a cake schedule comparted to some, but that 3:30 am part is getting to me.

Aren't there any linehaul jobs that start around noon or earlier ??

I found ONE so far, and they said it was filled by the time I called up.

I'm in eastern Pa. Thanks.

I have that same dream.

My hours start at 8 pm Monday night until 7 am the next morning.

My week finishes up Saturday morning. Very tiring hours. I would move for a day linehaul job.

Wow, that's even tougher than mine. Hey, at least we have predictable hours. And I should remind myself that it's still way better than all my previous jobs.

This isn't the way linehaul works folks...(for those unaware) For this daytime linehaul to work, all of the P&D guys would be trying to do their jobs when the businesses are closed?!?!?! Linehaul pays decent and is EASY.. but the downside is that you have to move the freight at night to get it to where it needs to be when the P&D guys can deliver it.
