Came by this accident/mishap today- eastbound. Anyone here know if the driver made out ok? I assume he did-- unless someone else put out the triangles ON the overturned trailer.

We have been through that area. Don't know about this particular accident but there were plenty of trucks jack knifed and over-turned on both sides of 80 through Rawlins and up to Evanston. There were two Fed-Ex doubles one on both sides of the highway that apparently lost control and did a 180 ended up on the shoulder facing the opposite directions with the second double turned on it's side. There was one Penske semi over on it's side with the trailer roof torn off and the passenger side of the cab smashed in. The headlights were still on I hope he got out.

What a mess, sitting here in Laramie, WY and I-80 is shut down again, Fed-Ex trucks were the last straw. DOT says storm coming and we may be here for days.

There must be something about Fedex doubles
From what I've seen, most Fedex drivers seem to be on a time schedule that leaves them to believe they must drive fast no matter what conditions are. Doesn't make sense to me since I know they're set on 50 mph average for their runs, at least I was for the couple of east to west runs I did last summer.
