I am still in the process of signing up for CDL school. I am getting it paid for from some grant through the state. As I am a 'displaced worker'...or whatever that means.

Hopefully in the next month I can start the schooling, and then I will get in contact with them. Should I apply as soon as I start CDL school or wait until I finish?

Heres a few thoughts.

1. Find a warehouse, how about a truck driving school they may have some room.

2. Park upstate in Yonkers and maybe take the train to your house

3. NJ, You got Vince Lombardi just over the GWB

I was looking at Gogle maps, Theres a bus garage on the corner of fountain and wortman. Theres some big open land with a business on it at the end of Granville payne ave.

Well hey look at google maps and see whats near you, that might help.

Good luck

I don't know what your friend is thinking, maybe he's paying day to day not monthly. I live in Manhattan and the most expensive monthly in the richest area I've seen was less that $600. But you go a few blocks over and goes down to the $300 range.

try talking to the manager of the restaurant depot in maspeth, (you can see it from the top of the kosciuszko), they have a huge lot in the back, and you might be able to work a deal with him for cash.

also, try this one off craigslist

It means they gave YOUR job to somebody overseas or south of the border...

Default what part of queens?

I live in queens also and i park my truck in Nassau county in a business parking lot. I used to park @ costco but or favorite nasty truckers messed that up so we can no longer park there..
Your best bet is to find a nice place close to home and ask the NYPD if its ok that way you wont get towed or ticketed..

what part of queens ?
if you go to maurice ave & tyler ave. just a few blocks north of the L.I.E you can park on the side of the cemetary ( on tyler)their is no alternate side parking in effect on any day there. you can acess it either from 58th st to 52nd rd or from the maurice ave side.
also 55th ave between 58th st an 50th st also on the side of new calvery cemetary . their you will have to move it during st. cleaning.
in collage point you can get away with leaving it on the side of the expressway for a day
in woodside along 31 ave & 63rd st under the bqe also 30th ave on the side of the playground on 63rd st.
in long island city their is a truck lot on the south side of borden ave & i think 53rd ave. but their you have to pay, and make arrangments in advance.
in flushing their is a home depot on avery ave. 1 block west of collage point blvd. if the guard dosn"t let you park their all along the surronding streets you can leave it for a night or to
