Are you saying you went through school but have not actually received a CDL yet?

If you were running around on a permit your trainer would have had to be in the passenger seat at all times. Beyond that, regardless of what your trainer was doing with his log book you should have been logging what you did as you did it. Not keeping your log current is a real good way to get in trouble a 100 different ways.

Assuming you still need to take the state skills test to get your CDL you will probably also need a "diploma" from the school before any training company will accept you. If you can get both then start calling around to the companies that hire students and go from there. Your only other two options would be to see if the original company will give you another chance or figure out some other line of work.

Sorry your trainer sucks, but you have got to finish what you start. I know that is 20/20 now. My husband had a really bad experience with his trainer, tons of things but as he was suppose to be getting returned to School to finish his trainer picked up two more students. It was along week getting closer to other men. Trucker butt and feet, He still has nightmares but he finished.

I am sure that doesn't help you just saying that people all have had it tough in one way or another. Remember don't let anyone come between you and your goals. Call the school or company and beg, They need to know that you are not going to abandon their property and truck when things are not going well. As that can happen. They need to trust you.

I had a feeling Millis was going to come up on this as they were/are the only company I know of that has trainees run on a permit and then take their skills tests after OTJ training.
